Kim is nine years old, and she is totally obsessed with sloths. If you don’t know what a sloth is, it’s a super chill animal that lives in trees and moves crazy slow. Kim thinks sloths are the coolest animals on the planet.
One Saturday morning, Kim was scrolling on her tablet, checking out sloth videos on YouTube. "Whoa, look at this one!" she said to her brother. The sloth in the video was hanging upside down, eating leaves, and smiling. "This sloth is living its best life," Kim said with a big grin.
Kim had a big dream—she wanted to see a real sloth. Her mom thought this was a pretty rad idea. "If you finish all your homework and keep your room clean for a week, we’ll go to the zoo," her mom said.
Kim didn’t waste any time. She cleaned her room like a boss and finished her homework on point. When Saturday came, she and her family drove to the zoo.
At the zoo, Kim spotted the sloth exhibit and ran over. "This is so epic!" she said. The sloth was hanging from a tree, just like the one in the video. It moved super slow but looked happy. Kim even got to take a selfie with it. "This is going on my Insta!" she said.
That night, Kim printed out the selfie and put it on her wall. "This was the best day ever," she said, hugging her mom. Kim couldn’t wait to tell her friends about her new sloth adventure.
